Christina Louise Salazar, age 21, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012. She was born January 28, 1991 to Victor Emilio Salazar and Virma Guzman-Reyes at St. Mary's Hospital in Hoboken, New Jersey, and raised in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. Christina attended Rancocas Valley Regional High School in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, as well as Timber Creek High School in Orlando Florida, graduating from Timber Creek in 2009. Christina attended Seminole State Community College where she was working on her Psychology degree. Christina enjoyed relaxing with her friends and sister, listening to music, and attending concerts. She will be remembered for her down-to-earth personality and for being there for her family and friends in so many ways. There are no words to describe how deeply she will be missed.
Christina leaves behind her mother, Virma Guzman-Reyes of Mt. Holly, New Jersey, her sister Alicia of Orlando, Florida, her brothers, Andrew and Victor of Mt. Holly, New Jersey, and her dogs Jesse and Eli. She also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends around the country. Christina was preceded in death by her father, Victor Emilio Salazar, who passed in October of 2010.
A memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 16, 2012. A viewing and memorial service will follow at a later date in Mt. Holly, New Jersey.
