Clara Sellers Bouton

Clara Sellers Bouton went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 15, 2021.
She was born in Mt. Olive, Mississippi on September 14, 1927 to Devan and Anna Belle Sellers. She grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She graduated from Mississippi Woman's College with an education degree. After teaching in Mississippi for several years, she moved to Florida in 1957 and taught for the remainder of her career.
She was a long time member of Dover Shores Baptist Church and taught second grade Sunday School for nearly two decades.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ross Bouton; her parents, Devan and Anna Bell Sellers; five brothers, Kelly, John, Charles, W. B. (Bo) and Irvin; two sisters, Dorothy Sellers Palmer and Willene Sellers.
She is survived by her daughter, Bell Bouton Smith (Jeff) and three grandchildren, Savannah, Spencer and Parker, one son, Woody Hartman along with several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Clara's life will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Orlando Chapel on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Steve Weidenmuller officiating.
Clara loved blue and it is the request of the family that everyone come in Blue Attire to honor Clara.
