Compo, Clare Ellen, 67 of Orlando, FL, passed away peacefully at home on September 8, 2012. She was born January 5, 1945 to Gerard Compo and H. Clare Smith in Bronx, NY and raised in Thornwood, NY. She graduated from Pleasantville High School in 1962 and began her career with AT&T soon after. She moved to Greenwich, CT in 1977 and resided there until she relocated to Orlando, Florida in 1988 where she retired with AT&T in 2001. Her hobbies included drawing, painting, reading, gardening, and taking care of her beloved dog, Cici. She was a food enthusiast who enjoyed keeping up with current events and traveling with friends. She is survived by her children, Kimberly Ambrosecchia and husband Alessandro "Mugz" of Greenwich, CT; George Carlucci of Greenwich, CT; Tara Richmond and husband Jason of Winter Garden, FL; and Joseph Carlucci of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Justin Ruvo of Greenwich, CT; Alexander "Mac" Ambrosecchia of Greenwich, CT; Gianna Carlucci of Seville, FL; and Carter Richmond of Orlando, FL. In addition, she is survived by her siblings Gerard Compo of Deltona, FL; Frances Hall of Mt. Kisco, NY; and several nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be held Saturday, September 15 at 11 AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran, 1515 S. Semoran Blvd, Orlando, FL 32807. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations made in her memory to the American Heart Association and to the American Cancer Society.
