Clarence Wayne Newland

Mr. Newland passed away on Monday, March 2, 2009 in Orlando. He was born on November 27, 1924 in Driscoll, North Dakota. He was a construction Worker. He was Lutheran. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife,Ruby Newland of Orlando; daughter, Susan J. Newland-Smith of Orlando; brother, Glen Newland of Alabeardo, Minnesota; sister, Joyce Siers of Dixon, Montana; 4 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2009 in Newcomer Funeral Home, Orlando.Visitation will be in the fuineral home on Thursday, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM Interment will be on Saturday, in Statesboro, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests contributions be made C/O Mr. Newland in memory of his son, Wayne Newland to the MD Anderson Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society.
