Craig Houser Rogers, born on March 17th, 1960, in Miami, Florida, he passed away at home with family and friends on April 28th, 2023, at the age of 63.
Craig grew up in Coral Gables and attended Ransom School for Boys. He was an exceptional student, and his intelligence was evident from a young age. Craig was a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served as an ET2 electronics technician and he was last stationed at the Astor Naval Bombing Range.
Craig was an avid musician and enjoyed playing the guitar. He loved classic rock and was always willing to play a tune for anyone who asked. Craig loved practicing with his band mates in his home studio. Craig was also a member of MENSA and was an accomplished computer programmer.
Craig is survived by his sister Linda Buermann and her husband, Eric, along with their two daughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Shirley Rogers of Miami.
A private dinner will be held for Craig where his friends will come together to celebrate his life and legacy.
Craig will be remembered for his sharp intellect, his quirky personality, his love of music, his giving personality and his sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Craig would want everyone to remember the good times with his friends and to celebrate while playing some Ted Nugent in honor of all he enjoyed!
We ask in lieu of flowers that you lovingly donate to one of his favorite charities, Muscle Dystrophy Association (www.mda.org)
Arrangements are by Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Winter Park, FL.
