Mr. Cruz "Cruzito" Rivera, age 74 of Orlando passed away Monday, April 17, 2006.
Born in Villaba, Puerto Rico, he moved to Central Florida in 1995. He retired in 1976 from the Puerto Rico Police Department after 16 years of service. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa; sons, Carlos Rivera of Carolina, Puerto Rico, daughter, Wanda Rivera of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, son, Jorge Rivera of Orlando, daughter, Maribel Rivera of Orlando; sisters, Fanny Lopez of New York, N.Y., Ana M. Rivera of Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico; 3 granddaughters, Cristina, Jennifer and Tatiana, and 1 great grandson, Aslym.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in the Chapel of Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00-5:00 PM prior to the service.
