Curtis Allan House

Curtis House, 68, of Orlando Florida, went home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2025. He was surrounded by the love of his family. Originally from Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, Curtis spent his life building a legacy of hard work, adventure, and devotion to those he loved.

For 47 wonderful years, Curtis was the beloved husband of Debora House, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and unwavering partnership. Together, they raised their cherished daughter, Heather, who was the pride of Curtis's life.

Curtis was a man of many passions. He loved hunting, which connected him deeply to nature and provided him with cherished moments of reflection and camaraderie. He was happiest when spending time with his family and friends, and his warmth and humor made every gathering special. Curtis was a devoted Christian and treasured the friendships he created as a member of Parkside Fellowship Church. Curtis also had a love for travel, exploring new places and creating memories that will be treasured by those who joined him on his adventures.

A dedicated and successful business owner, Curtis took pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way. His resilience and determination were an inspiration to all who knew him.

Curtis is survived by his wife, Debora; daughter, Heather; son in-law, Douglas; sister Ruth Ann; as well as many friends and loved ones who will forever miss his kind spirit, sharp wit, and generous heart.

A celebration of Curtis's life will be held on Friday, January 10 at Newcomer Funeral in Longwood, 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A church service will be held at Parkside Fellowship Church on Saturday, January 11 at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association.

Curtis's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His life was a testament to the power of love, friendship, and the joy of living each day to its fullest.
