Cynthia Davis- daughter of Dorothy Eloise Chavers and Vernon Carl Feddersen passed away on July 7, 2023 at the age of 65, she was a longtime resident of Sanford and Lake Mary area.
On May 20, 1958, Cindy was born to Vernon and Dorothy Feddersen in China Lake, California. She was preceded in birth by her older sister, Dianne. In 1959, Vernon was transferred to the Sanford Naval Air Station in Florida. They built a home off Lake Mary Boulevard and their home was full of love, laughter, and military spirit.
After graduating from Seminole High School, she began working in real estate and had her first child. She worked hard to provide for, and protect, her family of two with the help of her parents, Vernon and Dot.
She married her husband, Michael, in April of 1985 and moved to West Palm Beach, Florida. The happy couple grew their family shortly after by welcoming a daughter, Holli. Cindy continued working in real estate as a mortgage closer. While working full time, she also managed the family and many pets. To better provide care for their aging parents, Cindy and Mike decided to move the family back to Sanford in 1997.
Her passions for decorating, meal planning, cooking, and party/shower planning shined brightest during the holidays. She loved shopping and hosting yard sales and teaching her grandchildren how to get the best deals. Over the past 10 years she's had the privilege of being a stay-at-home Gigi to Jett and Kira and grand parenting from a far for Joey, Charlotte, and Ray. In addition to grand parenting, she volunteered at her childhood church in Sanford, Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Michael Davis; sister Dianne Feddersen; 2 daughters Heather (Travis) Kunst, Holli (Randall) Baeza, and her five grandchildren; Richard Joseph, Charlotte, Jett, Raymond, and Kira.
