Cynthia Louise Pelt born October 6, 1949 passed away on June 17, 2021 at age 71.
Cindy was born in Pittsburgh, PA and went on to raise her family in New Jersey before relocating to Florida in 1993. Wherever she lived though, Pittsburgh was with her. Football Sundays never went without her waving her Terrible Towel in support of her beloved Steelers.
Cindy was truly a jack of all trades, having worked a variety of different jobs throughout her life. She was always learning new crafts and hobbies, from ceramics to making jewelry to golf. She brought her quirky sense of humor everywhere she went and could be counted on to try new things.
A child at heart, Cindy boasted of her large Disney Chip and Dale collection and never passed up an opportunity to snap a picture with them whenever she visited the parks. Most of all, Cindy loved her Irish heritage, the highlight of her travels being her trip to Ireland. She surrounded herself with shamrocks and could be counted on to be the best dressed Leprechaun on St. Patrick's Day.
She is survived by three children: Deborah Farwell, Tracey Sobczyk and James Pelt as well as three grandchildren Kaylynn Marie, Connor Grayson and Addison Cynthia.
