Dale O. Hinkel

HINKEL, DALE OWEN, 62 passed away on June 23, 2010. Dale was surrounded by his loving family. Born April 9th, 1948 in Elmhurst, Illinois he moved to Florida in 1972 and married Barbara, his loving wife of 37 years. Dale worked at Convergys as the Senior Manager of Information and Technology and retired in 2005. After retirement, he remained an avid fisherman whose love of the water was unsurpassed. Dale also enjoyed gardening and landscaping. He will be loved forever and missed by many family and friends. He is survived by his wife Barbara; daughters Michele and Kristina; grandchildren Cody and Cory; sister Diane of Dahinda, IL, stepdaughters Deborah (Doug), Joani (Tim); grandchildren Lindsey and Haley (Dan); great grandchildren Paige and Caroline; stepson Randy (Carrie) grandchildren : Ryan, Brandy and Brian. The family will welcome friends on Monday, June 28,th at 5:00PM and a memorial service will follow at 6:00PM. The gathering will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 895 S Goldenrod Rd. Orlando, FL 32822. Family burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
