Dale Robert Turner

September 27, 1953 — September 15, 2024

Orlando

Dale Robert Turner, 70, years, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024 in Orlando Florida. He was married to Dorothy (Dottie), the Love of his Life, for 45 years.

Growing up in Bethlehem Pa, Dale graduated from Liberty High School and immediately joined the U.S. Navy, which he proudly served for 21 rears. He attained the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer (MCPO). He served on various nuclear powered surface ships as a reactor operator and spent many years as an instructor at the Navy’s nuclear training facilities located throughout the country. After retiring from the Navy, Dale worked for Lucent Technologies for 9 years and Orlando Utilities Commission (O.U.C) for 15 years before fully retiring in 2022.

Dale is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and his brother, David, two stepchildren, five grandchildren, a god daughter, along with several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Irene Turner, sisters Donna Sikora and Deborah Libricz.
Dale loved life, enjoyed watching movies - especially futuristic movies, TV show NCIS, always wanted the latest “gadgets”, but mostly loved spending his life with Dottie, the heart and soul of his life.

Dale was a wonderful loving husband. He would stop what he was doing to help people. He was funny and always made people laugh. He would joke around with you. He enjoyed experiencing new challenges, being on the computer, doing sudoku puzzles, and liked going to the gun range to target practice.

Per Dale’s wishes, there will be no services and will be cremated.
