Peyton, Dallas Earl- 84, of Orlando, FL, died August 4, 2008 at the home of his son Michael Peyton, of an extended illness. Born June 1, 1924 in Milton, W. Virginia, he moved to Orlando in 1960 with his wife of 63 years, Margaret (Cyrus) and 2 sons; Richard (Peggy) of Michigan and Michael (Cathy) of Orlando, FL. He retired from Sentry Management in 2003 as Head of Maintenance for over 20 years. He was a member of the First Church of God for 43 years and was an usher for 40 of those years. He loved wood working and gardening. He was a very loving man, soft spoken and was always there to help neighbors, friends and relatives whenever he could. He was loved and will be missed by many that had the pleasure of knowing him. Dallas had 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. He also had 41 nieces and nephews, a sister, Jean Bays of Wildwood, FL, brother, Charles Peyton of Milton, W.VA. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Dorothy Conrad Cooper, Joan Peyton Gwinn, Mary Peyton, Eula Peyton Jacobs, 5 brothers, Howard Peyton, James Peyton, John Peyton, William Peyton and Othal Conrad. Calling hours will be from 6:00 - 9:00 PM Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 8, 2008 in the Chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
