Daniel C. Blankenship, age 85, of Casselberry, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Daniel was born on April 7, 1934 in Potter, Kentucky.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Daniel enlisted in 1956 at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida and served his country as a jet engine mechanic until 1962 where he was honorably discharged at Castle Air Force Base in Merced, California. He received a National Defense Service Medal, a Good Conduct Medal with 3 Loops, and an Air Force Longevity Service Award with 1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster.
