Daniel Raymond Prettyman Sr.
Casselberry, FL - Passed on August 25, 2021 at the age of 77.
Daniel was born in Washington D.C. After growing up he decided to join the U.S. Navy to serve our great country during the Vietnam War. He worked on Naval destroyers and cargo ships on "Damage control", is what he told us. After spending a few years in the Navy, he joined the plumbing trade for over 35 years!
Dan was an avid music lover and collected many records; he had a huge love for Rockabilly music and a passion to learn to play the guitar. Dan also loved a good glass of red wine now and again. He was a loving father and worked hard his whole life to provide for his family. He finally retired to the Sunshine State in 2010 to enjoy "no more snow".
He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his children: Daniel Jr. and Jeffrey; grandchildren: Joey (Daniel) and Mikayla; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Daniel is predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Margaret; and sister Patricia.
Dan will receive a military service and be interred to rest at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 12:30 pm. A memorial service will be planned for family and friends.
