Daniel Robert Small, age 58, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Daniel was born on December 14, 1965 in Berwyn, Illinois.
He is survived by his dear sister, Sandra Small, his stepfather, John W. Collier, Jr., his aunts & uncles, Amy & David Barber & Dixie & John Flamm, as well as cousins & their children, Michael (Jen) Barber & Cameron, Christopher (Jennifer) Barber & Ethan & Eva, Shannon (John) Barber-Meyer & Sova & Etta, Justin Barber & Tobey. “Cousins”, Kathy (John) Novotny, Frank J. Cernik, Jr., Joe (Janice) Cernik. As well as by his best friend, Pat.
He was preceded in death by his loving & cherished mother, Bonnie Collier, his dear aunt, Cindy Grossman, & his proud grandparents, George & Ethel Stahnke, Jr., & “cousin”, Diane Wettstaedt.
Danny grew up in La Grange, Illinois & later lived in Orlando, Florida. He graduated from Colonial High School, in Orlando, Fl.
He worked at Avis in Orlando, Fl for many years.
Danny loved all his family & also loved dogs, especially his Mom’s, Frankie. He also loved spending vacation time in Wisconsin with his Illinois family fishing. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Cubs, & the Florida Gators. He loved action movies & music. Danny had a great sense of humor, the greatest laugh, & a kind loving heart.
Danny will always be an important & memorable part of all our lives. Danny was so loved by all & he will be greatly missed everyday. We love you, Danny.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to: ASPCA or to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Monday,June 24th at 2pm. Address: 4606 Lake Margaret Drive, Orlando, Fl 32812
