Danny Bray, 68, of Orlando, FL, passed away on Sunday April 02, 2023, in Advent Health Hospice, Altamonte Springs, Florida.

Danny was of the Catholic faith, and had been hospitalized for 9 months. He was suffering from a rare fungal infection, Mucormycosis, secondary to COVID.

Danny was born on February 13, 1955, to Shirley Johnson Bray and Wilburn Bray in Colorado City, Texas. After graduating from High School in Atlanta, Texas, he joined the Air Force. After he was discharged he missed the military and later enlisted in the Navy as a Medic. Danny spent a total of 17 years in the military, during the Gulf War.

In 2001 he met the love of his life,Carole, at the VA in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was an employee and he was a volunteer. They later married in Chatsworth, Georgia on October 8, 2004.

After moving to Orlando in 2011, Danny was employed by Disney several years, then decided to go to work for Universal Studios. He worked for Universal until retirement.
Danny never met a stranger and always enjoyed talking with the guests, especially the children.

Danny loved all animals and rescuing feral cats his passion. He loved history, watching movies and spending time with his wife and granddaughter at Cocoa Beach any time they could.

Danny was predeceased by his mother, Shirley Johnson Bray, his father, Wilburn Bray and brother Randy Bray.

Danny is survived by his loving wife Carole Howard Bray, granddaughter, Tiffany Wright and sisters Suzie Morgan (Frank), Tammy Tyson, and brother Kevin Bray. He is also survived by his extended family with numerous aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Danny requested to be cremated with no funeral or public memorial. Danny will be entered into the columbarium at the National Cemetery in Cape Canaveral, Florida upon the death of his wife, Carole.
