Danny Albert Garcia, born on May 27, 1953, in the Bronx, NY, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024, in Orlando, FL. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and boundless generosity that deeply touched the lives of all who knew him.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Danny is survived by his beloved wife, Ramona. He was the proud father of Danny Jr., Denise, Dennis, Giselle, Daniel, Diana and Daisy, each of whom carry his wisdom and love in their hearts. As a grandfather, his joy knew no bounds as he cherished his many grandchildren: Danny Christopher Garcia, Kaleigh Berrios, Christie Garcia, Adrian Garcia, Madison Berrios, Anelisia Aleman, Elias Aleman, Alina Acosta, Jaxiel Munoz, Xavier Munoz, Ariella Munoz, Christian Garcia, Isabella Garcia, Ayden Garcia and Amir Michael Alberga.
He is also survived by his loving siblings, Evelyn Rivera, Bernice Garcia and Pedro Alicea, who will hold his memory close and continue to share in the fond memories they created together.
Danny was a master of many trades, known for his incredible skills as an AC technician, but his abilities stretched far beyond that. Whether it was mechanic work, electrical repairs, plumbing or any building project, there was nothing Danny couldn’t fix or do. His hands could repair anything and his heart could uplift anyone.
A lifelong Mets fan, Danny took great pleasure in cheering on his favorite team. He also found joy in traveling with his family, making countless memories along the way. In recent years, he really embraced modern technology, always eager to get his hands on the latest gadgets, from cellphones, tablets and Apple Watches to the latest in smart home tech.
Danny’s legacy is one of strength, love and a deep sense of commitment to those he held dear. His generosity of spirit will be remembered by all, and his presence will be profoundly missed.
A viewing/wake will be held on September 7, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:30am, followed by a Celebration of Life service from 11:30am to 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home East Orlando, located at 895 S Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822. A graveside service will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery at 2:00pm.
