Darlene Koger

Darlene Maynard Fitzpatrick Koger – Passed away 11 May 2008. Born in Pikeville, KY to Ireland and Clemma Maynard, she was adopted and raised by Glen and Virginia Fitzpatrick of Crab Orchard, WV. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley WV, moved to Orlando, FL in 1958, and was a graduate of Boone HS class of 1959. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and an avid, very competitive bowler, having bowled at Orlando Colonial Lanes for over 40 years. She is survived by husband Bob Koger, son Dale (Jan), daughter Tammy Gay (Greg), five grand children, and one great-grand child. Services entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando (407-277-4227). The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 15 from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home. The service will be on Friday, May 16 at 1PM in the funeral home chapel, Pastor Larry Proffitt of Goldenrod Road Bethel Baptist Church officiating.
