Daryl Byrd Baker

Daryl Byrd Baker, age 76 of Clermont, passed away Sunday, March 8. He was born in Clermont on July 24, 1932. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Wasp and was a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his son Daryl C. Baker; daughters Karol Poole, Cynthia Homstead, Linda Bell and Lisa Baker; longtime companion and partner, Viola Wall. Visitation will be held from 5PM-9PM this evening at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, March 12 at 10AM. Interment with military honors will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
