David Alan Chamberlain was born May 6, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Harry F. Chamberlain and Doris J. (Teeter) Chamberlain. He graduated from Midview High School June 6, 1966. Enlisted into the Navy on 01/24/1967 was deployed to Vietnam received National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Vietnam Campaign Medal. He served aboard the USS Harwood DD861. He left the service in 12/22/1970 then he joined the reserves and remained there until 1989. On May 7, 1972 married Patricia E. Flaherty.
He attended St. Petersburg Junior College and obtained an AA degree in Business as well as University of South Florida and obtained a BA in Business Administration. He also attended FMU (Florida Metropolitan University) and obtained an AS Degree in Network Administration. During his life he worked for the VA Hospital; Disney World and Universal Studios.
He was an avid bowler who loved to coach and pass on his knowledge of the game. He was also an avid golfer who enjoyed spending time on the green. He loved music especially Chicago, Eagles and Foreigner. He was also the man you could shoot the breeze with over a good single malt scotch.
David is survived by his wife Patricia Chamberlain, daughter Rebecca Ireland, daughter Cynthia Hopper, Daughter Dawn Chamberlain, Sister Cathy Hawke, brother Danny Chamberlain, brother Doug Chamberlain, sister Christine Bass, brother Dale Chamberlain and brother Donny Chamberlain, as well 12 grandchildren.
