David Collinge, age 74 of Orlando, FL, passed away on Wednesday December 19, 2007. He was born in New Bedford, MA on September 29, 1933 to Ernest Collinge and Clara Ashworth Collinge. When he was 22, he moved to New Hampshire, settling in Newfields, NH, where he raised his family. Later he moved to Gonic, NH and Keansburg, NJ before moving to Orlando in 2006. He was a graduate of Dartmouth School of Engineering and worked as a civil engineer for the Dept. of the Navy at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. He was also an avid railroad enthusiast and a volunteer for MOCEANS Center for Independent Living, advocating for people with disabilities. He was preceded in death by his daughter Judy in 1989 and his loving wife of 40 years Dorothy Keyes. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Penston-McShane; daughter Nancy and her husband Dr. Victor Brooks of Sanford, FL; son Robert Collinge and wife Diana Heath of Newfields, NH; daughter Priscilla and her husband Leo Saucier III, of Gonic, NH; daughter Marjorie and her husband George MacDonald, Jr. of Orlando, FL and step-daughter Katherine and her husband John McManus of Sebring, FL. He is also survived by grandchildren Karianne and Robert James Collinge II, of Newfields, NH; Trevor and Robert Kent McManus of Sebring, FL; brother Alan Collinge of Stoughton, MA; aunt Marjorie Ashworth of New Bedford, MA and several nieces and nephews.
