David Hummel passed from this earth to his heavenly home on March 25, 2020 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He fought a good fight, he finished his race, he kept the faith. He has received a crown of righteousness. No more pain, no more suffering.
He was born December 28, 1951 in Kissimmee, FL to Rev. Harold and Betty Hummel (both deceased) and lived all his life in Florida. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hummel, sons Jared (Jennifer), Eric (Deanna) and Steven (Julie) and 5 grandchildren, Andrew, Brandon, Ethan, Lauren and Ella. He is also survived by Mother-in-law Martha Moss; brothers-in-law, Eddie Moss, and Danny Moss (Jill), sisters-in-law Edith Ringer; Vicki Wilson (Adrain) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
David loved the Lord with all his heart and loved his family and many friends. He was a kind and gentle man who believed in hard work. He was a student of the Word, and an incredible prayer warrior. David enjoyed a competitive game of pool, corn-hole or horseshoes, and loved being outdoors or tinkering and fixing things.
A private family service was held on March 29th.
A memorial celebration for David's life will be held at a later date.
