David J. Adam, 66 of Orlando passed away Sept. 9th surrounded by his family after a brave fight with Lou Gehrig's disease . Born in Cleveland, OH, he moved to Central Florida in 1992. He retired in 2000 from United Airlines after 36 years, was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and member of Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in Orlando.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy Adam; daughters, Terri Foster (Ron) and Sandy Buckley (Cleve) all of Orlando; sisters, Dorothy Schiffer (Bill) and Lou Ann Pyrka; grandchildren, Grant and Chelsea Foster and Haley Jenks and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5:30 PM on Thursday, Sept. 11th at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 1801 Rouse Rd. Orlando, FL 32817. Visitation will be held from 4:00-5:30 prior to the service. Please wear bright colors as this is a celebration of his life.
