David L. Ruggiero

David L. Ruggiero, age 58, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. He lived graciously and courageously with cancer maintaining a zest for life until the very end.
David was born in Natick, MA to Louis Ruggiero of Wentworth, NH and Lorraine Drowne of Mashpee, MA. David was proud to be employed by the University of Central Florida (UCF) for 16 years. David's interests included cooking and grilling, target shooting with friends and enjoying time with his cats.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Jennifer Ruggiero, mother, Lorraine Drowne, father, Lou Ruggiero, stepmother, Sharon Ruggiero, brother, Christopher Ruggiero. David also leaves his father-in-law, Harold Unger, sister-in-law, Danielle (Unger) Buczek, and brother-in-law Matt Buczek and aunts and uncles in many states.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Ruggiero, mother-in-law, Elizabeth (Lepore) Unger and stepfather, Ray Drowne.
Service for family and close friends is being held at a private location on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
