In Memory of DeLynn Roy (Butch) Cole

1941 – 2014

DeLynn Roy (Butch) Cole passed away on Sunday June 1, 2014. He was born January 1st in Trenton Nebraska, the son of Roy F. and Myrtle H. Cole. He was a United States Army Veteran and a true patriot serving our country in over 6 war theatres. He retired as a telecommunications expert where he would travel into multiple war zones to help keep the lines of communications open for our troops to their loved ones and the most prominent leaders of our country. Butch was a nameless hand, doing his work unseen and calm in the face of whatever life had to offer; one of our noblest soldiers.

Butch is survived by his loving wife, Ung T. Cole; 2 sons Xuan R. Cole, Tri R. Cole; daughter Linh Tacker; grandchildren, Chrystal Tacker, Andrew Cole, Julie Cole; 2 brother's Dennis Cole and DeLayne Cole.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 7:00pm Saturday June 7, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Orlando. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm prior to the service.
