Dolores E. Murray, age 87, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at her home in Orlando, FL.
Dolores was born on June 4, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (McLaughlin) Plain. Dolores married her childhood sweetheart, John, in April 1952 in Ozone Park, NY. She became a mother one year later to a baby girl, Dolores, also known as Little Dee. The family moved to Massapequa Park in 1960, and 3 years later, their son, John, was born. She was a devoted mother and homemaker who enjoyed raising her children and making her house a happy home. She loved music, gardening and spending time with her family, especially during the holidays.
Dolores is survived by her her daughter, Dolores Muller and her husband Richard; her son, John Murray and his wife, Carol; four grandchildren, Kimberly Stokes and her husband, James, Tracy Stewart and her husband, Shaun, Jack Murray, and Thomas Murray.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; and her sister, Eileen Baeder.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822, with Deacon Norm Levesque officiating.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
