Donald Wayne Adams Sr, age 77 passed away peacefully on Friday, October 26, 2018, at the Orlando VA Medical Center in Lake Nona. He was born November 27, 1940 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania to Leonard and Elizabeth (Jones) Adams. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1957- 1962, during this time he received training in artillery/small arms, was a member of the Military Police, and was recognized as a Marksman. He ran his own Locksmith Business for over 25 years (Adams Locksmith), in the Orlando area, and was a member of the Semper Fidelis club, which reached out to veterans in need. He was passionate about his work, family, friends, and love of animals (especially Cats). Donald was a man of honesty, integrity, and loyalty, especially to his true love, his wife. He is survived by his wife Joan, sons John and Leonard, Daughter Lisa, along with 5 grandchildren. Family, friends, and others whose lives Donald touched are invited to the Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for family and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for friends, this will be a time to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat. Viewing will be followed by Burial service at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2420 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817 at 1:30 p.m.
