Mr. Donald A. Richardson, loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, educational leader, accomplished fisherman, friendly neighbor, and loyal and faithful servant of God, went to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday (April5, 2015).
Born on October 3, 1932, this man of great strength, wisdom, intelligence, integrity, and love, led a joyful and humble life marked by great success in his personal and professional spheres. He was married to the love of his life, Irene, for 62 years. Their marriage served as a model of a Godly union of love. They raised four sons: Don, Mark, Barry, and Scott, who are all legacies to the modeling and influence their parents provided. The profound impact of one good man on his sons lives on.
The strong family values the sons grew up with has resulted in another generation of Godly unions; with their wives, Laura, Beth, and Jennifer. Their children are also recipients of the fruits of the labors of love.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11 a.m., at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, 32822. Those who knew him, were touched by him, and loved him are invited to attend. Please visit www.NewcomerOrlando.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to www.catholicschools-phl.org (please specify Good Shepherd Parrish) or www.goodwillcfl.org/dnatefinancial.php. Thank you for contributing to his on-going commitment to a life of giving.
