Donald Draper passed away on Monday, May 19, 2008.
He is survived by his mother, Hazel Lhea Stilla, his brother Edmond Draper, both of whom are in Orlando, and his son Todd Draper and daughter, Tina Daugherty both of whom reside in Oklahoma.
Don graduated from UCF with a degree in English Literature and worked most of his life as an air conditioning mechanic. He was well-read, an excellent writer, and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, boating, fishing, and anything that allowed him to find peace in nature. He was a spiritual man, a
member of the Baha¹i Faith, a loyal friend and a kind and sensitive soul who
was always willing to help others in need. He will be sorely missed.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 23, 2008 at Newcomer Family Funeral Home at 895 S. Goldenrod Road. A gravesite service will follow at Greenwood Cemetery at 1603 Greenwood Street, south of Rt. 408 and east off of Mills Ave.
