Donald S. Law

Donald S. Law, fondly known as Donnie, or Don, passed away peacefully in Orlando Florida, on January 20th, 2025, in his 66th year. He was born in Trinidad & Tobago on December 19th, 1958, to Elsie and MacDonald Law. 

Determined to provide his family with the best, Donald Law was an honored graduate of the University of Central Florida where he received his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialty in Geotechnical Engineering. Through much persistence he went on to successfully complete his MBA at Rollins College. 

Don was a skilled professional engineer, establishing his first firm in Orlando under the name of Law & Associates in 1992. There he employed many who were proficient within the field. Grateful for his own personal experiences, he gave many opportunities to those first stepping into the profession as well. Later on, he opened a new firm in the US Virgin Islands known as Vitest Engineers. The impact of this firm is yet still pronounced and will continue to break ground in years to come. 

Don was a dedicated member of Liberty Baptist Church in Orlando and actively associated with several other churches in the US Virgin Islands. He had a passion for gospel music and loved playing the guitar. A generously talented man, he helped many churches gain their footing as they embarked upon major projects and transitions. Donald was preceded in death by his father Macdonald, his mother Elsie and his elder sister Hannah. He is survived by his loving wife Angie and their three wonderful adult children, Nicholas, Joel, and Christina. Donnie leaves to mourn with us his sisters Rosalie and Emilie; and his brother Dave; and his cherished mother-in-law, Ms. Singh.
