He was born in Ocilla, Georgia. He was a construction coordinator for a telephone company. Donald was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Donald is survived by his Wife, Thelma Brown; sons, Donald Alan (Donna) Brown, David Madison (Vicki) Brown and Jody Rentz (Pam) Brown, daughter, Julie Ann (David) Myers; step-sons, Michael Maddox, Larry Maddox, Doug Maddox and Jeff Maddox; grandsons, Nathan Maddox and Andrew Maddox, granddaughters, Amy Lynn Brown, Jennifer Lee Braucksieker, Lauren Renee Titcomb, Dana Michelle Brown, Brittany Ann Myers, Shelby Lynn Brown, Lindsay Maddox, Joy Maddox, Livia Bonet, Julianna Maddox, Nina Maddox and Christina Maddox, great-grandchildren, Jackson Alan Braucksieker, Aubrey Lee Braucksieker, Gavin Arthur Titcomb, Brenden Harner Maddox, Lauren Haner Maddox, Eliah Bonet, Lina Bonet, Piper Maddox, Taylor Maddox; brothers, James Roger Brown, Doyle Rentz Brown, sister, Jo Ann Brown Griffin.
He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Mackey Brown and Mary Etta (Bryant) Brown his brother, Joseph Harold Brown and sister, Mary Ellen Elgin.
