Passed away on April 12, 2024 at Advent Health Winter Park.
Donald was born March 8, 1938 to Albert and Kathleen (Roucher) Oakley in Youngstown, OH.
Donald was a boat builder for Correct Craft retiring after 36 yrs in 2008.
Donald had a passion for new cars, spending endless hours detailing his newest car to perfection. He also enjoyed collectable toy cars leaving an impressive collection to his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and love for his family.
Donald is survived by his loving daughters Shirley (Bill) Adams and Cassandra (George) Shiflet, Mother of his daughters Susan Barringham. Grandsons Eric Corbett and George Shiflet Jr. Granddaughters Jennifer Corbett- Bullard, Katherine Shiflet and Sarah Shiflet. Great grandchildren Ronan, Scarlett and Piper Bullard. Nephews George Oakley and Eric Oakley. Niece Karen Oakley Delhey.
There will be a graveside service May 25, 2024 at Greenwood Cemetery Orlando at 9:30 am. Followed by Celebration of life reception at the home of Shirley Adams.
