Doris Cecil, age 75 of Orlando passed away Fri. April 7th. Born in Warren, IN, she moved to Central Florida in 1966. She retired from Orange County Public Schools (Liberty Middle School) in 1999 and was a member of Orlando Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her son, Philip Cecil; daughters, Mary Ruth Adams and Rebekah Wardwell; grandchildren, Melissa, Matthew and Megan Adams and Hope Mehendi Wardwell all of Orlando. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and her son, Mark.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Orlando Wesleyan Church, 1665 N. Chickasaw Trail Orlando, FL 32825. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd. Orlando. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Orlando Wesleyan Church for Wesleyan Kids for Missions (WKFM).
