Dorothea A. Rippe

Rippe, Dorothea Anne B.- Age 91, of Winter Park passed away Monday, August 2, 2004. She was born the youngest of 3 daughters to the late Joseph and Mary Benner in Highland Park, MI on March 18, 1913. She moved to Winter Park in January of 1960 with her husband of 42 years, and adopted daughter. She was a retired executive secretary. Dorothea was also president of the Winter Park Garden Club and a member of the Women's Society Group at Aloma United Methodist Church, of which she was also a founding charter member. To her friends and loved ones, she was known as "Dot", and by her granddaughters, "Grammy". She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter W. Rippe. Dorothea is survived by her daughter, Margaret R. Cramer and her two granddaughters, Kimberly A. Pringle, and Kristen R. Cramer, all of Winter Park. A Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Monday, August 9, 2004 at Aloma United Methodist Church, 3045 Aloma Avenue, Winter Park.
