Dortheya Johnson

Our precious mom, grandma and great grandma Dortheya (Dot) Elaine Miller, Johnson went to her heavenly home on October 8, 2016 at the age of 91. She was born August 1, 1925 in Fargo, ND to the late Rev Ivan O. and Orvis Miller. Her family moved to Brainerd, MN where her father pastored the Brainerd Assemblies of God Church.

Later they moved to Minneapolis where her Father was one of the founders of North Central Bible College and also pastored the St. Paul Gospel Temple where she met and married the love of her life, Raymond Johnson on April 10, 1947.

They had 3 daughters while living in South Minneapolis Cindy, Sandy, and Kay they later moved to Bloomington, MN and after retirement moved to Lakeland, FL where they enjoyed many happy years. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Johnson in 2011.

Dortheya is survived by her daughters, Cindy Munoz (Dave), Sandy Moltumyr (Warren) and Kay Decker (Bob); 6 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10AM to 11AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Orlando following with a Celebration of Dortheya's Life at 11AM. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
