Earl Maxwell

June 1, 1941 — April 26, 2014

Earl Maxwell was born in St. Thomas, Jamaica on June 1, 1941. He is the son of Beatrice Leonora Maxwell and David Maxwell. He has four brothers and nine sisters. He is the fifth born child of thirteen children. He attended Lyson's Elementary School in St. Thomas, Jamaica. Then relocated to Kingston, Jamaica and attended Kingston Technical School form which he obtained a certification in Blue Print reading. He worked for John Crook Limited from 1960-1968 as a Machinist.

In 1968 he migrated to East Orange, New Jersey. While in the United States he worked for Worthington Pump/Dresser Industries for twenty three years. During that time he met and married Enis Irving know to Earl as "Sweet Pea". They happily wed in 1989. Together as entrepreneurs they opened and managed a dual restaurant and beauty salon for six years. Earl and Enis then built and relocated to their first home in Effort, Pennsylvania in 1990 where they lived for twelve years.

He continued his machinist career at Curtis Wright in Fairfield, New Jersey for three years. He also attended Essex County Technical School to advance his skills and knowledge as a Machinist.

His career reached an all time high when he landed his dream job at Bio-Met a state of the art medical equipment company in Parsippany, New Jersey, where he worked from 2002 to 2007, when he retired and relocated to Orlando, Florida.

During his life he bowled professionally in tournaments and won several trophies. He also enjoyed swimming, fishing and spending time with his friends and family. He's a man of God and would spend hours reading and studying the Bible. He attended New Covenant Church of Central Florida as well as Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife of twenty five years, one daughter, one step-daughter, four sons, one step-son, three daughter-in-laws, one step-son-in-law, two brothers, three sisters, thirteen grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
