Mr. Eddie A. Ortiz, 35, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 in Orlando, Florida. Eddie was born on December 15, 1980 in New York, New York to parents Edwardo Ortiz, Sr. and Elizabeth Angela Labrada.
He is survived by his significant other, Marina A. Veiga; daughter, Brooke Lynn Ortiz; son, Evan Isaiah Ortiz; daughter, Isabella Elise Ortiz; father, Edwardo Ortiz, Sr.; sisters, Desirai Labrada, Angie Ortiz, and Elizabeth Vasquez; and brothers, Charles Piazza, Eric Rodriguez, and Joshua Wilkins.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Eddie Ortiz was a wonderful father, husband, and a friend to everyone who knew him. He had a gifted ability to make everyone laugh even in the most difficult of times. He was an incredible story teller and will never be forgotten by those whose lives he touched.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd., Orlando, FL 32822. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando.
