In Loving Memory Of Edgar A. Jiménez 1939-2024
Pastor Edgar A. Jimenez, age 85, Of Orlando passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at his home. He was born on February 5, 1939, in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Pastor Edgar was married for 56 years to Omega Jimenez. He received his Doctor in Theology at Andersonville Baptist Seminary in 1998, and pastored Grace Baptist Church for 48 years. Pastor Edgar in addition played the piano, accordion, organ, bass and sung wonderfully.
He is proceeded in death by his parents; father, Ismael Gomez and mother, Maria Jimenez Gomez.
He is survived by his wife, Omega Jimenez; daughters, Axa Jimenez, Omega Galarza, and son Edgar Jimenez II; granddaughters, Victoria Galarza-Colon and Maria Jimenez; and grandsons, Tristan Galarza, Edgar Jimenez III, and Eli Jimenez.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Grace Baptist Church, 6912 Lake Underhill Rd., Orlando, FL 32822 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S Goldenrod Rd., Orlando, FL 32822 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Interment will follow the viewing on Thursday, August 1 at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
