Edith Barriera, age 76, of Orlando, Florida passed away at home on Sunday, April 16, 2017. She was born on May 6, 1940 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to parents Juan Barriera and Angela Almodovar.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Julio Negron; and daughter, Yolanda Negron.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Ramon Marquez; daughters Margaret Ledger, Nancy Negron, and Laura Flores; son, George Anthony Negron; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great, great-grandchildren; sisters Judith Barriera and Martha Rodriguez; and her brothers, William Barriera, Victor Barriera, and Benjamin Montes.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 4:30 to 9:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822. The funeral service will take place at 7:00 pm.
