Edith Carol Williams (née Wilson), 74, of Orlando, Florida passed away on August 20, 2019 in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was born in Eustis, Florida on December 16, 1944 to Jack and Teny Wilson (née Pierson).
She is preceded in death by her husband, Forrest "Gene" Williams; her parents, Jack and Teny Wilson; and her brother, David Wilson.
Edith is survived by her children, Katy (Dennis) Keyes, Joseph "Chuck" (Sandy) Williams, Randy Williams, and Vernon "Jeff" (Amber) Williams; her grandchildren, Michael, Jesse, Crystal, Joey, Zak, Brittany, Noah, Dalton, and Trevor; her brother, John (Mary) Wilson; and ten great-grandchildren.
Edith loved to cook, and made magic happen in the kitchen; everyone loved her fried chicken. Her family was the most important part of her life, and she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for how much she adored her husband, who she had loved since she was a teenager, and how much she loved and cherished her family.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Pastor Larry Crawford will lead a funeral ceremony at 11:00 am.
