Edna Yvonne Everett

Edna Yvonne Everett, age 101, died on June 21, 2021. Born May 14, 1920 in Wadesboro, N.C. Edna was a longtime resident of Ormond Beach, but spent the final year of her life in Oviedo with family, Edna enjoyed a loving marriage of over 60 years with her husband Cecil F Everett.

They were the parents of four children, Cecil L., Ashley R., Patricia and Betty Jo. She is survived by her son Cecil L. (Barbara) and her daughter Patricia (Jody Miller). Edna was blessed with ten grandchildren who continued her legacy by adding many great and great great grandchildren.

Edna loved crafting and a highlight of her life was when she worked in the Craft Shop at Walt Disney World's Lake Buena Vista shopping area. She was often seen performing her skills to patrons of the shop. While in Ormond Beach Edna attended Bethel Baptist Church where she was known as the "official cake baker" for special events. She will be missed. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved Cecil in Florida National Cemetery.
