Eduardo Hernanadez, Sr., 50, formally of Orlando, departed this life unexpectedly on Saturday, May 20, 2017 in Gainesville, FL. Eddie was born in Guanabacoa, La Habana, Cuba on October 6, 1966 to Estela Sanchez and the late Humberto Hernandez. He was one of four children.
Eddie has been a resident of Florida since 1977 coming from the North Eastern part of the USA. He graduated from Miami Senior High and later led a successful career in the Auto Industry specializing in customer service.
Some of his many hobbies included; dancing, watching a good game of football, and being a super fan of Star Wars. He truly admired being a father and always enjoyed quality time with his family.
Memories will be cherished by his fiancé, Adrienne Smith; children, Eduardo Jr., Daniel, Aidan and Emily; mother, Estela Hernandez; siblings, Humberto Hernandez (Leticia), Maria Febus (Edwin), and Lazarus Hernandez; his feline companion, Aphrodite; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. His kind and precious soul will forever remain in our hearts.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held from 4PM to 7PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home in East Orlando with a funeral service to follow at 7PM.
