Ed enjoyed a very successful career in insurance which spanned four decades. During that time he earned CIC, CPCU, and AAI designations. He was an original board member of the FLSLO and was President of the Florida Surplus Lines Association and also served as the Chairman of many insurance organizations. His proudest and happiest business accomplishment was as President of Franzese and Associates of Orlando, Inc.
Ed was a loving, faithful and loyal friend to all the people in his life. However, Ed was completely committed to his family. He was a devoted husband to Sherrill his wife of 47 years and the loving father of three children. He gave great love and dedication to his children, their spouses and his grandchildren and to his large extended family.
Ed and Sherrill used their lives to bless a multitude of people over the years and their home was a refuge for people in all situations of life. Still, Ed's life revolved around his family and his greatest joy was in them. No matter the circumstances of their lives he was always there for them, he always loved them and he was always dependable for them.
Most important in his life and his greatest love was for the Lord Jesus Christ. Ed gave himself completely to Christ and to His service. He served the Lord in his business, in his family and at Christ the King Episcopal Church for 40 years. He was always very active in the church and served in every Lay-position including Lay-Reader and Elder.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Christ the King Episcopal Church or Vitas Hospice.
