Eileen Eureka Kingston, also as Olga, was born in Ann's Grove, Guyana to Esme and Freddie Rollins on November, 18th 1930. There she met the love of her life, Joseph Kingston and the two immigrated to London, England where they were married.
While living in London, Olga went to culinary school. She later worked in the North London Post Office as the Head Cook.
After several years in London, Joseph and Olga relocated to the United States of America and built a wonderful life in Brooklyn, New York. While in New York, Olga worked at Colombia University and retired after many years of service.
In Brooklyn Joseph and Olga served as the glue of the family hosting many family events that included a multitude of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Everyone knew of Olga’s love for family, cooking, keeping a beautiful and welcoming home, and always looking fantastic. Every event she hosted be it a family dinner, holiday events or a quick visit was always done with a smile and love.
Olga will always be remembered for her wit, sense of style, love of dance, and the way that she loved and cared for her family.
Olga is proceeded in death by her husband Joseph, parents, and several siblings. She is survived by her son Joseph Kingston, who lovingly took excellent care of Olga in the later years of her life, siblings, Lynette, Eslyn, and Claudette; nieces Patricia, Donna, Amanda, and nephew, Alfred; great nieces, Avemaria, Cathy, Ireti, great nephew, Jamal; and many other great nieces, nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Aunt Olga, although your smile is gone forever and your hand we cannot touch; We still have memories of the one we loved so much; Your memory is our keepsake with which we will never part; God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts.
