Oliver, Eldora S.(Waldon)- Her loving husband Milton Oliver preceded her in death in 1997. Mrs. Oliver was a retired biochemist for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. She was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star, Local Chapter #89, member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, RAFMAN, and the Amvets Auxillary. She was the first African-American Lab & X-ray Technician at Dr. Phillips Hospital in Orlando. She was a licensed Real Estate agent and Mortgage Broker in Florida since the 1980's. Mrs. Oliver was a graduate of Bethune Cookman College and Brevard Junior College. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She is known as a generous and loving God-fearing wife, mother and friend to many. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her Children, Vivaloria "Lori" Waldon-Jones and Wyndell Waldon (& Meta); Siblings, Oliver Sims, Fannie Colson, Ida Cobb, Lindsey Sims, George Sims, Ann Clawson, Theodore Sims, Ronald Sims and spouses; 4 Grandchildren, five Great-grandchildren & a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services and Repast will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 25, 2008 in Shiloh Baptist Church, 604 W. Jackson St., Orlando. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at 2:00 PM. Wake & viewing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, April 24th, from 5-8 PM.
