Eleanor N. McDowell, 79 of Orlando passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009. She was born in Akron, Ohio and moved to Florida in 1960. She was retired from Fairwinds Credit Union after 21 years of service. Eleanor spent her life being a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John H. McDowell Sr. of Orlando; sons, John H. McDowell Jr. and Ronald L. McDowell both of Orlando; sisters, Marilyn Buford of Winter Park, FL and Jeannette Mason and her husband Bernie of Akron, Ohio and several grandchildren.
