Elena Socorro Gonzalez

Elena Gonzalez, 83, of Orlando, FL, passed away on May 17, 2024.

She was born in Las Yayas, Azua, Dominican Republic on September 30, 1940.

Elena was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was a very happy person. She was funny. A great human being, with a big heart. She was a fighter. Elena loved to dance; she was a singer. The soul of the party. Her inspiration in life was her children. Her biggest dream was to bring all her children together to this county, and she achieved her dreams. She loved to see all her family reunited.

She was an excellent mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Everybody loved Elena for her CHACA, CHACA like she used to call everyone. She always put her family first before her. Elena was a blessing to our life.

Elena is survived by her four children, Samuel, Jacobo, Maria (Betty), and Soranyi, eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Elena leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, friendship and grave to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Elena will be greatly missed and she will be in our hearts forever.
