Elia Elena Bustamante-Otero was a caring wife, mother grandmother, sister, aunt godmother and friend to all. She left this world suddenly on August 27, 2021, at age 59. Elia was born to Zoraida and Tomas Bustamante on December 1, 1961 in Moron, Ciego de Avila, Cuba.
Elia's smile was made from sunshine, her laugh contagious and her heart was solid gold. She loved life and her family dearly. Family was always her first priority. She threw all her energies into raising four beautiful children that she was very proud of. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and fun family parties with lots of food. She always seemed to be the life of the party and was a fantastic cook. Elia will be always be remembered as a loving soul. She leaves us rich with beautiful memories.
Elia is survived by her devoted husband, Wilfredo Lazaro Otero, father, Tomas Bustamante, daughter, Zoraida Armas, sons, Ignacio Ramon Armas, Jr., Noel Armas, and Angel Miguel Armas; brothers, Cesar Tomas Bustamante (Irene) and Hiram Bustamante (Carrie), grandchildren, Elena Mendez and Samuel Miguel Mendez and many cousins, aunts, uncles, niece, nephews and friends. Elia was predeceased by her caring and loving mother, Zoraida Morell Marrero Bustamante.
Vistiation is from 9am-1:30pm, Sunday September 5, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, FL 32822. A service will be held in her honor at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817 at 3:30pm.
