Elias Piccard-Rivera, 67 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. He was born on July 2, 1946 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Gregorio Piccard and Alejandrina Rivera who have both preceded him in death.
Elias ws a community activist in the City of Orlando and served as President of United Front 436. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam and was of the Protestant Faith. He was earned his masters degree from Columbia University and was also a graduate of The City College of New York and Hostos Community College. He retired as a Social Worker and was also the owner of Rico Transportation in Orlando.
Elias was a proud father of his three children, Elias Piccard II (Jennifer), Esteban Piccard (Zulma) and Brenda Piccard-Muniz (Reynaldo). He is also survived by his former wife, Edfrida Piccard; six grandchildren and his fourteen brothers and sisters, Guillermo Piccard, Luis F. Piccard, Gustavo A. Piccard, Carmen I. Piccard, Madeline Piccard, Carlos A. Piccard, Blanca M. Piccard, Noe S. Piccard, Marcos A. Piccard, Roded Piccard, Wilfredo Rivera, Esther Robles and Angel Robles.
