Elizabeth Walsh Brady, age 81, of Orlando, Florida 32828, passed away on Friday, 3 May 2024.
Born on 25 February 1943 in White Plains, New York, Elizabeth was the daughter of Muriel Sullivan and Francis Walsh.
Elizabeth grew up in New York City, and it was in New York City where she met the love of her life, Robert Brady, in 1978. They were married on 16 June 1979 in Cresskill, New Jersey. In 1980, they moved to Hastings on Hudson where they would live happily together for the next 42 years. From that moment on, Elizabeth focused on raising her family, being a devoted wife, and loving mother. She was extremely organized, had a phenomenal business sense, and a tremendous passion for antiques. She used all three of those talents to open her own Antique Shop called Sugar Pond Antiques in downtown Hastings on Hudson. She eventually turned that antique passion into managing and executing Estate Sales with her close friends and spent many weekends traveling with her friends throughout the New York Tri-State areas hunting for treasures.
She was an active member of the Hastings on Hudson community and served as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister at Saint Matthews Roman Catholic Church. On 31 May 2022, they packed up their belongings and their dog, Plume, and moved to Orlando, Florida to be closer to family.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband Robert, who she was married to for 44 years. She is also survived by her children, John (Nhu-Anne), Tena (Tom), and Christopher (Kristi) and grandchildren, Nicholas, Robert, Thomas, Timothy, and Andrew.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her daughter Tammi S. Palmer of Middletown, NY.
